Summer 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Cubs spent plenty of time outside, cooking on a campfire, learning navigation skills, sailing mini rafts on the Hogsmill, racing push go-karts in the park, and pitching tents<\/p>\n

The County Cubs adventure day, SCRAM, was back at Horton Arena this year, and all the Cubs who went had a great time having a go at everything from archery to zorbing<\/p>\n

The Cub and Beaver summer camp at Broadstone Warren in Sussex was blessed with good weather and gave the Cubs plenty of adventures<\/p>\n

Autumn 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n

Martyn, Mary, and Paul stepped up to run the Cubs while I wasn\u2019t able to lead, and we\u2019re extremely grateful to them for giving so much of their time to keep everything going smoothly<\/p>\n

The Cubs explored and found out about Epsom and Ewell, learned money skills, and took part in the District Remembrance Day parade<\/p>\n

The Cubs ended the year with the traditional carol singing with the Beavers with a collection for the Epsom & Ewell Veterans Community Hub<\/p>\n

Spring 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

As well as working for various badges and visiting St Mary\u2019s Church in Ewell, the 2nd Ewell Cubs kept up their winning streak in the District Quiz for the third year in a row, and this year the team went on to win the County Quiz!<\/p>\n
