It\u2019s\nsafe to say that the Summer Term 2020 for Scouting in Epsom and Ewell has been\nlike no other. However, with badges to award and the need for celebration, 2nd\nEwell (Rainsters) Beaver Colony decided to organise a very special Zoom\nmeeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With\nKarl and Judith in attendance, and family of all ages prepped for action, we\nproceeded to \u2018award\u2019 no less than 9 (yes, 9) Chief Scout\u2019s Bronze Awards. Each\nfamily had a sealed envelope to open, with a certificate and badges inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\nalso re-lived some of the amazing activities that the Beavers have achieving in\ncompleting Challenge Awards. Highlights included 74km of walking a Roman road,\n27 miles of cycling, planning to escape a desert island and 133 bounces on a\npogo stick!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One\nparticular activity really caught the eye \u2013 an aunt of one of our awardees has\nrecently been unwell. Our Beaver has stepped up and helped out with a lot of\njobs around the house and garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
