2nd Ewell (Rainsters) Scout Group was founded in 1929 and has been providing fun and new experiences for over 80 years. Today, in our four sections for both boys and girls, we offer children and young people from the age of 6 through to 18 opportunities and experiences they will remember for the rest of their lives.
We have a varied programmes of events and activities for all sections of Scouting: from camping, night hikes, first aid skills and fire lighting to bowling outings, climbing trips and diving experiences.
Our Group is especially fortunate to have its own archery and indoor rifle ranges, situated at our Group HQ in Ewell village and these are used by our Cubs, Scouts and Explorer sections. The children have opportunities to take part in district and national competitions.
Please browse this site to find more about our Group and Scouting in general. If you would like your son or daughter to become a member, please get in touch by using the contact button on the relevant section’s page. For general enquiries click here. We’re always ready to welcome new Scouts.
Scouting is run entirely on a volunteer basis, so if you’re an adult we’d love to hear from you if you’d like to help out with the running of the sections, or help behind the scenes on the Group Executive Committee.
